Resources to Prepare for the Storm:

  • Ready San Diego is a resource website for emergency preparedness in San Diego County
  • SDG&E for power outages and the latest preparations for the storm
  • Prepare an emergency plan with your household and loved ones and have an emergency kit with important supplies ready to go
  • Know the safest routes to and from home should flooding occur
  • Do not block storm drains. Trash can bins out on the street for collection should be at least 2-3 feet away from the curb so they don't impede storm water flow
