Stay up to date:
Emergencies during the Storm:
- For life-threatening emergencies call 9-1-1
- Report down electrical lines or gas emergencies to SDG&E or call 1-800-411-7343
Non-emergencies during the Storm:
Report non-emergency problems, including but not limited to blocked storm drains, flooding, broken street lights, damaged to trees, etc. by calling (619) 498-2400
Resources to Prepare for the Storm:
- Ready San Diego is a resource website for emergency preparedness in San Diego County
- SDG&E for power outages and the latest preparations for the storm
- Prepare an emergency plan with your household and loved ones and have an emergency kit with important supplies ready to go
- Know the safest routes to and from home should flooding occur
- Do not block storm drains. Trash can bins out on the street for collection should be at least 2-3 feet away from the curb so they don't impede storm water flow
