City Attorney

The City Attorney is retained by the City on a contractual basis and advises the Council and the City Departments on questions of legal matters.

City Clerk

The City Clerk is a service department to which the City Council, City staff, and the general public come for information regarding the operations of the City.

City Manager

The City Manager and the Management Team are selected by the City Council to implement the policies and regulations adopted by the City Council using the various resources of the City. We are eager to help residents, visitors and applicants navigate City processes to achieve positive outcomes for the community.

Community Development

Community Development oversees the management of the City's layout and infrastructure. It is composed of several divisions.

Environmental & Natural Resources

The Environmental Division is responsible for implementing several programs which serve to promote a clean and healthy environment for the enjoyment of Imperial Beach residents, businesses, and visitors.

Finance

The Finance Department provides all the required administrative services to operate the city, including financial reporting, audits, budgets, payroll, purchasing, grant administration, business license compliance, investments, and treasury functions.

Fire Department

The Fire Department works to save lives and protect property through prevention, preparedness, education, and response.
