CITY PARK INFORMATION

Dunes Park

790 Seacoast Drive

Boasting ocean views and beach access, Dunes Park is in a pristine location along Seacoast Drive and the beachfront. The park features a wide variety of amenities making it a perfect destination for locals, tourists, and even special events.

Portwood Pier Plaza

10 Evergreen Avenue 

Pier Plaza showcases Imperial Beach as a classic Southern California beach town with its laid-back, feel-good culture. The vibrant “Surf Henge” public art piece invites tourists and locals to take in the charm of the most Southwesterly city in the United States.  Visitors to Pier Plaza can enjoy a stroll along the fishing pier or white sand beaches, take in sights along Seacoast Ave, and enjoy the small-town charm of IB.

Reama Park

Located in a residential neighborhood, Reama park is an ideal park that features a newly updated playground, fitness equipment, and grassy areas for play or picnicking. Dedicated in 1962, this park was named after the late Councilmember Harold Reama.

Sports and Skate Park

425 Imperial Beach Boulevard 

The Sports and Skate Park is a fully equipped recreational facility and park that provides a wide range of recreational opportunities to the community, from the playground, skate park, and five ballfields, gymnasium, and more. 

Currently, the Sports Park gymnasium and facility is closed for remodel. The ballfields are maintained and used in partnership by the Imperial Beach Little League and Imperial Beach Girl’s Softball organizations.

Ballfields are regularly open during sporting events in association with Imperial Beach Little League and Imperial Beach Softball organizations.

Teeple Park

Corner of Calla Avenue and Florida Street

Located in a residential neighborhood, Teeple Park has a playground as well as picnic benches and barbecues.

Teeple Park is a residential park located near the bayside neighborhood in Imperial Beach.  The park is popular amongst children and families with its fun playground, shaded walking path, and 4-square court.

Veterans Park

1075 8th Street 

Veterans Park is in the heart of Imperial Beach and serves as a community hub neighboring the Imperial Beach Library and Senior Center. The park features a veteran’s memorial and beautiful rotunda/stage that provides ample space for performances and instructor led classes. 

The newest additions to Veterans Park are the updated inclusive playground designed for children of all abilities and outdoor fitness facility that serves older adults and individuals who may be disabled.

Large lawns in Veterans Park can be rented out for events or team practices. Please contact PRCS office at 619-423-8285 to rent and reserve. 

Circles Park

975 Iris Avenue

Circles Park is a small but inviting community neighborhood park along Iris Avenue.  The park offers seating and manicured landscape along with artistic elements such as sculptures and murals. 

Amenities Include:

• Paved walkway 

Dog Park 

Located between Veterans Park and the Boys and Girls Club

The Imperial Beach Dog Park has become a popular spot for local dog owners and their furry friends to enjoy a safe, gated space for play.
